Sponsoring Your Spouse, Partner, or Dependent Children

If you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you can sponsor your spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner, or dependent children to become permanent residents of Canada. To be eligible, you must be able to support them financially and ensure they do not need social assistance from the government.

Sponsoring Parents and Grandparents

The Parents and Grandparents Program allows you to bring your parents and grandparents to Canada as permanent residents. Due to high demand, there is a limited number of applications accepted each year. To participate, you need to submit an interest to sponsor form during the designated intake period.
